Preliminary Evaluation: Filming

What was successful in your filming? I think that overall the whole film was successful, however in particular I think that there were a few shots that we did very well, such as the first shot and the match-on-action shots throughout the film. Some of these shots were quite hard to get right and ensure that the continuity wasn’t affected. Did you use a variety of shots? What were you trying to achieve with certain shots and why do you think your choice of shot mattered? We tried to use a good variety of shots to test the abilities of the camera. We made use of a lot of over the shoulder shots after our initial establishing shot to keep the 180 degree rule. I think that what we were trying to achieve with our shots was to emulate the constant back and forward of ideas being flung about.
